Kenneth Asher has worked a total
of 44 years in the underground utility business. Since December 1999 to present he has managed
the day to day operations of Tri-State Utility Contractors, Inc., in north
Mississippi.
From 1999 to present, K.
“Dustin” Asher has been involved in the supervision of all projects completed
by Tri-State Utility Contractors Inc., in North Mississippi, and Western
Tennessee.
Jonah "Joe" Asher has been
working in the underground utility business for 15 years. He is a certified
welder with qualifications in 1104 and 1104 low hydrogen. He has been with
Tri-State Utility Contractors, Inc. for 10 years.
Major Accomplishments of Tri-State Utility
Contractors, Inc.
2001- Cast iron
replacement projects in Clarksdale, and Cleveland, Mississippi, replacing about
three miles of cast iron, and 200 services, via horizontal directional
drilling.
2002- Blanket contract for
Mississippi Valley Gas, installing gas main and services in Tunica, Coahoma,
and Bolivar counties in Mississippi.
2003- Completed a large
low pressure replacement in Tupelo, Mississippi, along with numerous
directional bores installing approximately 12 miles of water pipe on two other
projects.
2004- Installed gas main in
several new subdivisions in Olive Branch, Mississippi along with taking care of
all horizontal directional drilling bores.
2005- Installed gas and fire
protection at 3 new schools in DeSoto County, Mississippi.
2006- An 11 mile water job
in DeSoto County, Mississippi.
2007-
1. 650 ft. of 8” steel horizontal directional
drilling bore under Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad in Olive Branch,
Mississippi.
2. 210 ft. 24” steel
casing and 210 ft. of 12” casing both dry bored and jack under Burlington
Northern Santa Fe railroad and Hwy 178 in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
3. 340 ft. of 24”
steel casing dry bore and jack under Hwy 78 in Olive Branch, and 360 ft. of 12”
steel casing installed under Hwy 78 by horizontal directional drilling.
4. 220 ft. of 24”
steel casing installed under Hwy 12 West in Starkville, Mississippi.
2008 - 1 mile of 6” STL
that passed x-ray bridge replacements of Pe gas line up to 60’ deep in St.
Francisville, LA. and a 3 mile main and service PVC replacement in Washington
Parrish Gas District.
2010 – 2014- PVC rise
replacements. Managed a blanket contract
for Oxford, MS.
2012 – A project on the
Columbus Air Force Base. Approximately
3,000 feet 4” and installed approximately 400 gas meters.
2013 – A FEMA project to
replace 1500 gas meters and risers and miscellaneous HP STL creek crossing
washouts.
2014-2015 – Worked for
Atmos Energy and Center Point Energy in Mississippi and Louisiana
